A. Jude Avelino is the founder of Avelino Nitkewicz LLP and the leader of its corporate and tax departments. Mr. Avelino’s corporate and tax experience has led to a diversified client base ranging from large public companies to high net-worth individuals and families. Mr. Avelino’s areas of emphasis are Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax Planning and Advanced Estate Planning and Administration. His clients benefit from his experience as a transactional tax attorney and litigator.

Mr. Avelino served for six years on the Board of Directors of Gilda’s Club, a charity designed to assist survivors of cancer and their families. It was developed in honor of late comedienne Gilda Radner. He has also been honored by Trial Lawyers Care for his pro bono work representing clients who were injured in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Among his clients was the acting Chief of Safety of the New York City Fire Department.

Mr. Avelino began his career as a litigator at a large New York law firm and then founded Avelino Nitkewicz LLP.
