Valerie A. Burg is a 1999 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law.  Ms. Burg graduated from State University of New York at Albany in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. 

In 2009 Ms. Burg joined Avelino Nitkewicz LLP as part of its Trusts and Estates Department.  Prior to joining the firm Ms. Burg was associated with several prominent New York Law Firms concentrating in Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration and Estate Litigation.   

Currently Valerie A. Burg is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department.  Ms. Burg provides comprehensive estate planning services, including the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, dynasty trusts, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, qualified personal residence trusts, advance health care directives, durable powers of attorney, comprehensive assignments of assets, special needs trusts and a number of other estate planning instruments.  Ms. Burg also regularly represents clients in Probate, Administration and Guardianship matters.
